Education Qualification:
1.Senior Scientific Assistant:
Should be a graduate Degree of a Recognized University or Institute in the
discipline of Environmental Science/ Chemistry / Bio Chemistry /
Microbiology / Aquatic Biology / Marine Biology / Bio Science / Biotechnology.
Provided that preference will be given to those having experience in different aspects of environmental management including analysis of wastewater and/or air in environmental Laboratory
Should have the basic Knowledge of Computer Application as prescribed in
Gujarat Civil Services Classification and Recruitment (General) Rules 1967,
as amendment from time to time.
Should possess adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi.
2.Clerk Cum Typist:
Should posses a Bachelor Degree from a Recognized University or Institute
in Commerce, Arts, Law, Business Administration or Science.
Pay Scale:
Senior Scientific Assistant
Fixed Pay Rs.13700/- for first 5 years (9300-34800) (PB-2) Grade Pay 4400
Clerk-Cum-Typist
Fixed Pay Rs.7800/- for first 5 years (5200-20200) (PB-1) Grade Pay 1900
Age Limit:
For Senior Scientist Officer: Minimum 18 years and more than 30 of years
For Clerk Cum Typist: Minimum 18 years and more than 30 of years
Age relaxation will be given to General Category female candidates and ST & SEBC
male candidates upto 5 years and ST & SEBC female candidates upto 10 years,
wherever the seats are earmarked for them.

For General Candidates: Rs.500/- per application
For ST, SEBC or Female Candidates: Rs.250/- per application
